There have been many times in my life, that I have wanted a dog. This was my dream…
Nothing!
She was the most beautiful dog that had ever lived and the kindest, cutest little creature that had ever been man’s best friend. Her glossy black coat, bordered around the shoulders with a rich, light brown mantle, shone like a gently rippling sea on a full moonlit night. A small white area on her slender nose that widened up into a patch around her right eye gave her a natural beauty that far outweighed elegance and Hollywood glamour. She was real, natural. Yet it was not her looks that made this animal stand out amongst all the rest. It was a pure cosmic power of goodness that grew deep within her and radiated out through her green brown eyes and her gentle smiling countenance. It was an aura of warmth and caring that surrounded her and positively influenced everyone in her presence.
There was no bad in her, no hate, nothing negative, for her soul had been blessed at birth. All planets and stellar constellations were at that moment placed in their most positive Universal positions – every single one. Just one soul had been given its first breath at that very second – this little dog. Millenniums are no more than a single tear in the deepest ocean of time, yet it will take a world of oceans for the astral kaleidoscope to return to that same position once more. So it was she, that was endowed with such a heavenly character. It made her the most wonderful creation Mother Nature had ever achieved.
She lived with an old man who may not have been blessed with that same minute of birth but who had somehow also earned a minor blessing from heaven, so good was he too. Perhaps he was the only man that could look after her. He was kind, gentle and fair and his humour made the green of her eyes sparkle.
They would walk along together. She at his heels, attentive and alert, and he appreciative and proud. But it was not a pride of possession, nor of beauty, it was a pride of character, fuelled with love and thankfulness to Mother Nature. The man and the little dog spent their whole life together, as one, a pair, and they never ever felt old, nor tired.
Nothing, nothing! stops man from attaining these goals, except man himself.
