The Issue
is that wealth is not humanely distributed…
The TEAM concept can, however, ease that within everybody’s place of work:
by improving the workplace atmosphere and motivation through the implementation of the TEAM paradigm, companies, with their government’s support, can drastically reduce some social problems and begin the re-distribution of wealth.
This petition is an appeal to all national companies and small/medium (Mittelstand) businesses in European countries to adopt the herein described “TEAM” concept. It is also an appeal to their governments to support them to adopt “TEAM”.
Please read through and help by signing, thank you.
Why Should We Do This, what are the exact issues?
- Our society is polarised.
- People are disgruntled with ineffective mid-road politics and are falling prey to insincere right wing policies.
- Democracy is at risk.
- Youngsters do not see a decent future and are no longer willing to work.
- Staff shortages everywhere and social assistance for the unemployed is often misused.
- Saving our climate is being pushed to one side until other problems are solved.
- Companies are losing staff and are unable to replace them.
- The Super rich are given benefits whilst the poor get nothing.
- Pensioners and care needing people can no longer lead a dignified and secure life due to excessive costs and little help.
It will allow all employees to earn more, to be certain of their due benefits and will make them highly motivated. They will see a better future thus minimising complaints and discontent. This will, in turn, help diminish polarisation.
None of the above issues will entirely disappear if the TEAM concept is implemented. But they will be mostly reduced to acceptable levels.
To: ALL EUROPEAN START-UP CEOs & Mid/Large sized company CEOs
Start-ups may have less of these problems (and no profit for a while) but you are not a start-up forever. Start-ups should indicate to all staff that it is their intention to begin TEAM allocations (see below) as soon as profitability allows. However, the rest of the TEAM concept can begin from day one (TEaM).
This is how any EU company with 50+ employees can turn those problems into benefits…
This petition urges you to follow the TEAM concept…
T – Transparency
E – Equality
A – Allocation
M – Motivation
Transparency
External, TEAM certified Auditors will edit your financial accounts each year and will ensure that:
- your accounts & current business plan (the TEAM section) are 100% transparent to all staff and the public.
- allocation of profits are being fairly distributed as promised and as per your openly published TEAM section of the business plan.
- allocation of profits in recruitment adverts must show those of the current year’s business plan.
- equality of gender in salaries and benefits are being upheld.
- equality of gender is respected in the allocation of duties: same work, same pay. Equal chances for promotion.
Equality
- Same job, same pay, regardless of gender.
- As far as possible: equal chances of promotion for all genders, races and beliefs.
- Nursery (see allocation) to allow children of either parent to be looked after at their place of employment.
Allocation
- Allocation of profits with exact percentages stated clearly in the publicly open TEAM section of the business plan should show the following and state reasons why certain allocations are not yet/currently possible:-
- X% (of nett proffits) to R & D, business development.
- Y% to company infrastructure…
- nursery – to allow children of either parent to be looked after at their place of employment. Smaller, local companies could club together on this.
- eChargers available to staff for free and to the public at the usual costs. Smaller, local companies could club together on this.
- all company cars to be full electric – not hybrids (because many users never use the electric motor).
- Solar panels and batteries to be installed (where possible) on the roofs of company buildings or within the campus/gardens.
- of money to local care homes.
- Z% for annual staff bonuses, whereby every member of staff from the CEO to the cleaner receives the same bonus (the same fixed sum for all employees up to the CEO, not a percentage). A small percentage of this Z% may be held back for merit rises for exceptional effort. Those receiving a merit rise will also receive the normal staff bonus. Merit rises are not intended for top management.
- W% for payment into every employee’s pension fun – a fixed sum, not a percentage.
- Allocation of salaries by tariff, regardless of gender.
- Employees that work in the nursery must also be on a tariff and receive all allocation benefits that are due to your staff.
Obviously the above allocations of profit are not possible until the company makes a decent profit. The amount of profit to ensure that some or all of the allocation benefits can be implemented must be stated in the annual, publicly open Team section of the business plan.
Motivation
Who would not be highly motivated to help the company achieve its targeted annual profit?
The publicly open part of the business plan must show:
- the year’s targeted profit
- the allocation projects that will be implemented if the target is reached
- the allocation projects that will be implemented if only 75% of the target is reached, or 50%, or 25%. Below the 25% of targeted profits mean an acceptable loss of any or all planned allocation projects.
To: ALL EUROPEAN Governments (incl. UK)
The TEAM concept is not a law but a paradigm for all national companies to implement if they wish.
However, the government can, and should, help companies in their country to adopt the TEAM concept by:
- subventions for company cars must only be for full electric cars, not hybrids – and the smaller the car the better.
- companies adopting the TEAM concept should be given some additional tax benefits – you can absorb that cost by taxing the super rich a whole lot more.
- TEAM controlled companies should be financially assisted when implementing infrastructure that benefits the nation such as solar/PV installations and eChargers and social support such as care homes etc.
Also (government leaders) – you can save a lot of money by cutting the administration in your tax offices and improve the lives of many people at the same time…
- stop taxing pensioners that have an income below x€ …
this lowers admin costs in tax offices and… - increases the pensions of thousands of older people who currently have problems coping financially.
How..
does the TEAM concept help minimise the risk in the areas as mentioned in the 9 issues at the top?
- our polarised societies in Europe…
- are caused by many things including unfair distribution of wealth and inequality (from gender to racism & more). If governments support companies implementing the TEAM concept some inequality issues are seen to be disappearing.
- a disgruntled electorate…
- will see that equality, wealth distribution and social care (allocation of profit to care homes and day nurseries, public charging points) are supported by modern companies and their governments.
- helping to save democracy…
- fewer people will look towards populistic and right wing parties seeing, for the first time, that commerce and governments are making real efforts to ease their lives.
- youngsters with no future…
- will begin to realise that employers and governments are striving to make it worthwhile to work and to be highly motivated.
- staff shortages…
- will no longer be such of a problem as more people will look for work and existing staff will find relief from working long hours. Disgruntled communities will diminish.
- climate change…
- With government & TEAM incentives to increase e-charging bays and to implement PV systems on company premises, the green community should become less extreme.
- loss of staff…
- will be much less of an issue leading to better productivity, continuity and motivation: contentment in work and at home.
- Redistribution of wealth within the company leads to a better life for those workers on the lower tariffs. These are perhaps not poor people but have never had the chance of a good bonus to enable better holidays or a new car.
- Supporting a local care home, or similar necessary homes, will no doubt please the local community and ease the burden on many people.
If several “TEAM” companies are local the contentment and prosperity of the local community will increase.
But the real social benefits will be realised on a national level if the government support and push the TEAM concept, providing financial help for all companies wishing to move from their current paradigm to TEAM. The electorate will begin to show respect to the government and change their voting habits thus saving democracy.
